We're looking for some parents to volunteer to help out with timing events on Wednesday's meet at Hurley Field.  Please call Mr. La Framboise @ 248-837-8339 if you are interested.  (And if he doesn't get six parents by the time the meet starts, expect him to come out into the stands and ask you to 'volunteer.')

Coaches Q&A: Pickups after track meets

Ben, what time should parents plan to meet the bus back at Norup?

That's a bit of an unknown variable; depending upon the size of schools, track teams have gotten back to the school as late as 8, but have also gotten finished considerably earlier.  I would assume that they will be done and back before 7, but I would plan on having your runner contact you when the bus leaves from Clarenceville.  That would guarantee that you'll time it right.

Order of running events

Cut-out the order-of-events list and bring it with you to the track meet to help you keep track of when you will run.  After a while, you'll memorize the order and won't need the list.

Our first track meet of the season will be at Clarenceville Middle School in Livonia.  Students will be riding a bus to get there, and the meet starts at 4:30 p.m.
